are all T40's wireless ready?

im interested in a t40-2374 7CU , how can i tell if i can just put in a mini pci wireless card? i tried searching but i couldn't find a database or anything.

nevermind. i just found out on lenovo's website that its "wireless upgradeable" i guess that means yes :)

Easy way

One of the easier ways to do is to open the laptop up and see if the antenna leads are by the minipci slot.

keep in mind that many have problems with internal wifi. mine wasnt stable and eventually quit working, even after trying a couple different wifi cards. there is a hot chip right under the mini-pci slot on my t40 that just simply cooked the wifi cards into not working. pcmcia card is what i have to resort to now, not as pretty but works much better imo.
