Wireless on a 600e with a HiRate 128 PC Card

#1 Post by schen » Wed May 16, 2007 12:15 pm

Well, my low-cost 600e is almost finished. I installed an X-Jack Ethernet card last night and got on the internet. Then I installed one of my OLD IBM HiRate128 WiFi cards which is working fine, but then I realized that I had no way of controlling it under W98.

So foregive me for my ignorance guys, but I've never worked with wireless prior to W2K so I'm at a loss as to what to do now. I know that for most cards, you can go to the manufacturer and download their management software and you're good to go, but I haven't found anything like that for the HiRate.

Any help would be happily accepted on this; I'm baffled! :?
