Problem with ThinkVantage (Blue key)-Help please
I downloaded and upgraded the May drivers/software posted on Lenovo's website. Since then when I press the blue key the productuvuty center flashes on the screen then disappears. I have to hit the button 3 times to get it to show the productivity center. Has anyone expereinced this? is there a fix? i belive it has to do with the productivity center update AND/OR the hotkey update.

that was only the begining, somehow vista had a bad hick up and it kepy wanting to install the TP Power manager, even thought it was already installed. Then it wouldn't start the TPHKSCV so none of the fn+ keys would bring anything on the screen. It took several un-intsalls of most of the Lenovo SW and reinstall to get things back were they were. Beware of new updates (Lenovo or Vista) as they may screw things up and you would have to spend few hours trying to figure out to get things back to normal.

Reprogram the think vantage button
There is a way to reprogram the think vantage button.
It took some digging but the only way to do it is via the system registry. There are two places in the registry that you will have to change. If you are comfortable using Reg edit then let me know. I will tell you exactly how to get that button reprogrammed. I would strongly suggest that you back up the registry first in case something happens.
My think vantage button was somehow reprogrammed, but I am not sure which of the many updates did the damage.
If there is another way I have not found it.
