Anyone ordered a T60p IPS/Flexview recently?

I called the EPP number and the sales guy told me there are none available. Anyone have luck with any particular model/type.

How recently? IPS T60p is no longer offered by Lenovo as of this date.

The reason I wanted to pick one up because Lenovo stop offering IPS screens. I actually called last week and the rep said they didn't even have the T60p from the outlet store.

You're late in inquiring about them, they were reported to be all sold as of Thu Apr 26, 2007. Periodically check the market place, I doubt someone would sell one but if you're lucky maybe you can find one there.

I ordered my 2623-DDU (15" 1600x1200 Flexview screen)from MacMall.com and I think they are still in stock for $1900.00.

Just checked the Higher ed contract (WI) that I received my T60p with flexview from 2 weeks ago. As of tonight, it is still available. T60 15" with flexview is available on the regular lenovo site as well. The main difference between the the T60 and T60p is the upgraded graphics. You might try again and simply ask to customize a T60 with the ATI Firegl V5250.

Good luck. I love my T60p with flexview.

They won't do it, esp. for education. I tried so hard for that last august, and ended up getting a souped-up T60

This is curious.... I rechecked my original order (again through the WI higher ed contract).. It was for a T60 (NOT T60p) but the online custom order form for this contract did allow me to choose the FireGL V5250 graphic card. When I received the laptop, it is labelled clearly below the screen "lenovo T60p."

Sorry about the EPP talk.... The point is that Lenovo IS still building T60's with flexview and the FireGL V5250. The question is how to order it. Based on other threads I've read, availability is not limited to special groups at this point, but rather is more a function of getting a sympathetic sales rep as Lenovo transitions to the T61s.....

We've got a good discount at my college so I got a T60p (Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 2GB RAM, V5250 with 512MB RAM, 100GB 7200rpm HDD) with IPS FlexView screen.
