Auto Data in filling out forms etc.

#1 Post by bpetterson » Fri May 18, 2007 5:45 pm

I have two T60P's
2623-DDU Flexview 1600-1200
2007-8JU 1400-

Both XP2 sp2

Been through a couple of recoveries each.
I think that I may not have agreed when the chance came up.

Like
If I am ordering something. If I typed the first letter or number,
I would get a chance just to click and the whole number would be entered.
Also say on google, if I had search prior about "Lenova"
the instant that I typed "L", Lenova would appear in the choice box.

Is there anything short of doing another recovery to again gain that feature.

Yep.

I suppose you're using IE 7.

Go to tools> Internet options>Content>Settings (Autocomplete), then check the "Forms" then press ok.

Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Outlook Express is a email client. :)

For browsing the web you would have default Windows web browsers like IE (Internet Explorer version 6 or 7).

The method I explained should work with both versions.

Also see explanation from Microsoft.

Please forgive me.
I went to tools in Outlook Express.
I must pay more attention and read correctly.

No problem, Birger.
