15" build quality > 14"

I recall reading this was the general consensus. True? If so, why do you think it is so?

In some ways there are improvements, in other ways the 15" displays your typical first-gen issues.

Battery fitment is better. I wish the palmrest was made of slightly thicker-gauge plastic though, it's very flexy around the top by the LCD and on the left where the PC card slot sits. Other than that, they're pretty comparable - both are generally high quality and tough for everyday use.

T42 (2374-3VU): 1.7GHz/512MB, 14.1"SXGA+, DVD-RW, 80GB, 2200b/g.
