T42 LCD Brightness?

#1 Post by Logi7 » Fri Oct 08, 2004 9:38 pm

I remember when I first got my T42 with all the preinstalled crap that the LCD wouldnt go to full brightness unless it was plugged in (FN + Home)

when i plugged it in, the screen brightness went up a level.

Well now ive been running on a fresh format, is this full brightness? or do i have to install some drivers to get it to the full brigtness?

You can change it in XP -> Thinkpad Configuration -> LCD -> Brightness when running on batteries -> High.

BIOS has the same setting.

Yeah, I used my LCD at full brightness all the time when on batteries. I just turned it up with the buttons. Or set a profile.
