Vista MCE - TV stutters/jittery?

Anyone with vista ultimate running MCE - does the TV stutter/jitter? It plays fine for ~ 5 seconds than lags for a brief moment. This cycle repeats itself. CPU util < 40% and it's plugged in with 2gb of RAM. CPU is C2D. BTW this is a x60 tablet running @ 1400x1050 50hz. I'm wondering if the 50Hz has something to do with it??
