Wow, the super-long URL made this page sooooooooooo wide that even my 24" WUXGA monitor can barely show the whole width of the page!

I think the SXGA+ T61 will be my next laptop. My T42 has fared well and is still in great shape, but its time for something faster.

I think ill wait for the T62 or at least the T61p. The T61 isnt enough of an upgrade.

Sure it may not be enough of an upgrade from a T60, but it seems like a nice and necessary upgrade from my perspective, coming from a T42p, which lately has started to seem mighty slow especially with a lot of the new versions of software I have installed over the past 6 months. My guess is that most of the newer versions of most software have been optimized for the Core 2 Duo cpu.

not the time yet for me to upgrade from T43 although i have X60s already, this is merely for travelling.
well, for performance boost, upgrading, T61p or T62 would be the options
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful
