Looks replaceable to me:

Edit: on second thoughts, that doesn't look so replaceable! Might just be the heatsink mounts.

AFAIK, all X series CPUs are soldered onto the motherboard, and are non-replaceable.
X220 (4287-2W5, Windows 8 Pro) / X31 (2672-CXU, XP Pro) / X61s (7668-CTO, Windows 8 Pro)

yup it is soldered!!!
unless you do change a new motherboard with faster CPU speed
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful
