2 Speed HS Fan for T3X with 2.4G CPU Problems

I ran into a slight problem with my laptop. When I do something that requires a lot of CPU usage it gets really hot. I have a program that tells me the temp of the CPU and it got up to 80c. When I put this faster CPU in I bought a different fan and heat sink from some guy off ebay (suppose to be 2 speed). I don’t think they make any aftermarket HS/fans for the T30 that I could find so I did as much research as I could and thought I got one specifically for the 2.4 GHz but I never hear it go to a high setting. I don’t know if it is my machine or the fan. I have the newest bios and EC (I forget what it stands for but it needed to be upgraded to get the faster CPU and up to 4 gig of ram).

I can use some suggestions as to what fan should I have gotten, what changes I should of made to get it to work right, or what are the options left to me?

The 2.4 is only used on very few TP30s.
Fan with P/N 91P8908 is for 2.4 TP30 Models: 2366-FBx, -JBx, -M6x and -M7x, as well as 2367-FBx

Roam around on the forums and get the TP-Fan utility, with which you can manually adjust the fan-speed.
