T42 and iPOD

Hello.
I wanted to ask about iPOD (4th gen) and T42 connectivity.
Did anyone who owns both have any problem connecting using iTune via USB 2.0?
I am asking because I heard many owners having problems connecting using USB2.0 to their computer. I had similar problem with my desktop's USB so I used firewire to connect.
Since T42 does not have firewire I was wondering if there is a possibility of connection issue with iPOD.

I have a 3g iPod, and connect via USB2 without any problems.

Just dont plug it in via an USB-Hub. Use it directly in the USB-port on the thinkpad.

i have a t42 and an iPod mini . I have no troubles connecting one to the other.

T42 and 3G here. No problems at all... Not with the iPod anyway...

(I'm on my second T42).
