great mini-dock price on ebay, 2 left

I think it will fit.
Took the chance at that price! Almost paid more for one earlier.
Just to put everyone's minds at ease, that's the correct mini-dock for the latest T series machines. Also works with older A, T and X series machines by sliding the rear cover forward and back.

why wouldn't it work with a KVM? don't see any reasons...

That's because it's a higher wattage unit than the "normal" 72W units we're used to in order to provide sufficient current for the dock's slots and four USB ports.gcchatel wrote:to follow up on the beginning of this thread, I just received my mini-dock from the guy on ebay, everything seems to work well. What exactly is the difference between the mini-dock and the port replicator? Looks like you more USB ports through a hub (though the p-rep also has a passthrough), lock-and-key, and comes standard with a power supply? It's not like the full-sized dock that has a drive bay and PCI slot, right?
