I very well recall it. The silica gel falls into the salsa or something and a women takes a dip with tortillas and eats it.

I myself own all the Seinfeld seasons (one of the most brilliant and well thought sitcom I've seen in my life).

At one point I was noticing small daily life things like Jerry Seinfeld.

Mike, do you have a desk at home? Wouldn't it be helpful to use the Thinkpads on a real desk?

IRT my home setup, I can will tell you that just recently, well in the past two years I broke up with my GF and she had three kids, so I never had room enough in my house for many years to have an actual desk, so I kind of made my space there as you see it. It really fits for me now because I have become used to it. I really have my own domain with the 2003 server and everything I do is relative to testing the softwares and devices (that are not pictured) for my work. I also manage our server at work from home.

I really don't have a "desk" or office at work either becuase I am always on the road "out in the field" troubleshooting customers network problems, so I really have become used to doing without a desk. I see people in their "cubes" all day long (this is definately not for me, my car is my cube, this is what you call a road warrior for real) and have actually had an office and desk when I was a service manager, I hated it.
It really is fun going from place to place and meeting so many different people, checking out the chicks and learning from and helping other IT people.

So my setup is not as common as most but it works perfectly for me.

It sounds like a great life if you can get it....

That is one thing I loved about doing freelance (now I have a cubicle). The freedom and meeting new people was awesome.

Mike, you done good! No one should settle for common, it is amazing how many people never think to questions their lives, they only gain satisfaction from the fact that their life is considered normal. Being a warrior spirit demands being fearless enough to ditch normal and make your own thing, and be okay with that. I think there is a lot of those spirits on this forum
