anyone ever used s-video output to play dvd on a tv?

hey all,

i'm trying to use my t42's s-video output to play a dvd on a tv with an s-video input. think i have the right cable, but can't figure out how to get the display out to the tv.

does anyone have any experience with this?

Plug the cable into the TV, turn the TV ON, then plug into the laptop's S-Video port. Use presentation director to set the TV as the primary display.

Sounds simple, but also check that you selected the correct AV in on the tv!
