t60 cdrom problem in vista

#1 Post by kooshball » Fri May 25, 2007 12:06 am

i can't seem to get my cdrom to work at all.

when i first installed vista (with network boot) i had an ultrabay battery in. now when i try to put the cd drive before or after the boot, i get blue screen. even with no cd in the drive.

is there anyway to fix this? im using vista enterprise.
thanks

Try installing easy-eject utilities from IBM website. Without it, ultrabay devices are not hot-swappable. You need to restart every time you swap the devices.
