Arggh!!! Marked screen screwing keyboard in...

#1 Post by psychocandy » Fri May 25, 2007 4:40 am

Can't believe I've been so dull...

Fitting my 2nd hand keyboard one of the screws wouldnt go back in easily so I gave it a bit of force...

Of course, forgetting the screen was the underneath....

Not when the screen is black you can see white creases/cracks eminating from one spot.... Looks like I've cracked underneath the dispklay or something?

Can anything be done to fix this or is it new display time?

How easy is it to fit a new display?

Yes the only thing that you can do to fix it is replace the lcd.

Download the HMM it details step by step how to remove and reinstall all the components of your machine.

Hope this helps.
