A22M Beep's

When I try to start the A22, I get 2 series of 3 short beep's then a single beep no error code just a pwr. light from that point on.
I have no background info. to share.

Was this a working machine? Is there memory?

Three short beeps, pause,three more short beeps, and one short beep means either 1. DIMM. 2. System board

I just got it and it was working for previous owner. It was on the Forum , I belive abt 10 day's or so ago.
It has 1 stick of Ram, It booted once in about 10attempt's, but now nothing but the beep series. JD

I guess I'll try to get a stick of Ram and try that! Thank you for taking the time to post. JD

Found a 128 mb stick ram and it boots & load's OS fine . Thank's again, JD

Nice that your thinkpad is working

Can you tell me which specs you have? (because i am planning to buy an A22m)

And do you have Ethernet? (I mean a working one, because some people say that A22m has a connector, but inside the laptop it is not connected because there is no miniPCI card with ethernet function)
