Where did Bluetooth go in Access Connections

#1 Post by Trolle » Sat May 26, 2007 6:58 am

All of a sudden my Bluetooth icon disappeared in Access Connections (Fn+F5). I removed Access Connections using Software Installer and reinstalled it. This did not solve the problem.

Does anyone have another solution?

I am running Windows XP on an X60 and have not actually used Bluetooth except to test that it worked, which was about half a year ago.

I have vista with no access connection. When I hit Fn+F5 the BT icon lights up. You're probably missing someother (key) driver.

The thing is that BT worked before and I haven't uninstalled or touched any other settings. When I do a software update, I have all the necessary components.

I have had an issue before with Access Connections and dropped Wifi connections, which a reinstall of Access Connections solved and I thought it would take care of this issue too. Guess not.

AFAIK the FN-F5 needs the Access Connection and the Hotkey driver.

Maybe the hotkey driver missing...(tpfnf5.exe)
