Problems with Vista

explorer.exe wouldnt automatically start up after an odd problem with netconfig.exe. My video card drivers would install but I would not be able to go to hibernation or quick shut down. Id installed the generic drivers from Vista, but than I wouldnt get the option of using my Thinkpad to boot up on an external monitor and to install certain things I would have to start up in a lower resolution. I cant used WMP 11 to see videos because I have insufficient RAM on my laptop. I cant used my MP3 or thumb drives on my PCMCIA card, has anyone found any fixes for those things?
