T60p - Problem with 1. generatet Recovery CD Set

#1 Post by coolskin » Sat May 26, 2007 3:04 pm

Hi @all
At the time i get my T60p i created a recovery CD set. At this time i had to create 2 CD´s and 1 DVD. The Recovery Boot CD, the DVD for recovery and the RR-CD.

On the CD/DVD is following:

Boot CD (400MB):
PREBOOT(DIR)
I386(DIR)
RECOVERY(DIR)
NTLDR
COMMAND.COM
NTDETECT.COM
IBMBIO.COM
IBMDOS.COM
HIMEM.SYS
AUTOEXEC.BAT
BOOT.INI
BOOTSECT.DOS
WIN51
WIN51IP
WIN51IP.SP2

Recovery DVD (3.56GB):
RECOVERY(DIR)

Think Vantage RR CD (350MB):
PREBOOT(DIR)
I386(DIR)
RECOVERY(DIR)

The Problem is, when i insert the boot CD RR 3 is starting. Then i click on System recovery - the Systems reboots. RR 3 is starting again. Again i click on System recovery and i have to insert the CD/DVD with the Data. But no CD contains this. Only the Boot CD have something to select but not the DVD. How can i recover the system?

Can someone help me?
