t60 Bluescreening

#1 Post by Taka » Mon May 28, 2007 12:56 am

I cannot find the other thread someone made on this issue. Lately whenever I have been playing videos speficially, I get a blue screen

NMI: Parity Check/ Memory Parity Error

My warranty covers on-site assistance, so last week I had an IBM person come out and replace my whole switch/mother board, as they suggested via phone with this problem.

All was dandy until I woke up to a bsod once more.

Parity Check Bluescreen Issue On X60 Tablet

#3 Post by curia007 » Thu Jun 07, 2007 9:19 pm

I continue to get Memory Parity Check on my machine. It doesn't make any sense, but could it have something to do with the docking station? I notice that get it only when I have the docking station attached to the tablet.

it's prob. a bad memory module.
do memtest one stick at a time you'll be able to narrow down the bad module. (it could be both)
good luck..
