Hi folks! I have a T60. I would like to solve the most is the video jitter while on an external LCD.
I have 2 LCDs, 2 vga cables, so the LCD is not the problem. I've tried different resolutions at different refresh rates. I've tried the unchecking of refreshrate reduction in the powerplay. I made sure that there's no obstruction in the vga female ends on the laptop. Of course I tried rebooting, made sure EMF interference wasn't the problem. All no luck. Anyone experience this?
Here's a dirty fix that is guarenteed, and might offer a big clue on the problem. When I start a video, and the overlay kicks in, the jitter stops. So what I do is start a video, hit pause, and then minimize. But I really don't think I need to be doing this on a top of the line laptop.
Just a little bit more info, if I had to describe the jitteryness, bundles of rows, likes to shift a pixel to the left for a split second.
If you know what I can do, I would definitely appreciate it!
