Password manager

Recently, not sure when it started, it's just a minor annoyance, my fingerprint no longer seems to log into the security center. Before I could use fingerprint to log into the laptop, and it would take it away, go to a website and it submits credentials.

Now, I can log into the laptop, but when I go to a website, it asks for my windows password first. Once logged into CSS, I'm good until I log out of windows and back in.

Any suggestions?

T60WS, XP SP2 with all appropriate patches.
