Finally installed Vista upgrade..

#1 Post by mrbjr » Mon May 28, 2007 4:50 pm

Well I finally did it and so far I am very well pleased. I was one of the lucky ones to receive my upgrade within 6 weeks of my purchase, but after reading many posts pointing out all the potential pitfalls of this new OS I had been holding out... But last night I tried to restore to a factory setup and it failed, so I was left with only the one option... Anyway after installing the ThinkVantage updater and installing all needed programs and drivers, it is working extremely well... My wireless is a bit weak, but I am about three hundred yards from my access point and it is good enough at about 60%. Have installed Nero Ultra7 and movies play fine. Installed 1Click Copy pro and it works normally as well.
All n all Luvn it

60% signal @ 300 yards? I don't get a 60% signal at 30 yards.

Still, 300 feet is 100 yards... does any domestic router give that range?
