TPFancontrol Service doesn't load the interface

#1 Post by kay.one » Wed May 30, 2007 12:19 am

Hi,
I just upgraded to vista and like it a little better than XP, but one major problem that i have is, when i start TPFancontrol service, it runs and i can hear my fan slowing down and everything, but it doesn't show the tray icon so i could open the interface where i could see the fan speed and the temperatures.

has anyone successfully used the TPfancontrol service under vista with the interface, I'm just wondering is it me or vista thats doing something wrong.

Thanks.

I haven't had any problems with TPFan under Vista Ultimate on a T23. I sometimes get the error when it initially tries to open, but I think it's because the system isn't ready for access right after booting.

Is your active setting on 2? What ThinkPad are you using?
