[SuSE 10.2/t60] Bluetooth dosent work

#1 Post by Mad_Dud » Wed May 30, 2007 8:55 am

Bluetooth - not tested:
http://www.phatowl.com/tech/SuSE101_T60.html#BlueTooth

Bluetooth - works:
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Laptops/IBM

SuSE on t60 - nothing about bluetooth drivers/installation
http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Installing_op ... inkPad_T60

Please give me a clue, how to use bluetooth on thinkpad t60.
I don't forget to turn on wifi/bluetooth by "button".

Code: Select all

I wonder, how i missed this. Thank You.

[edit]
Problem (half) solved :-)
I can connect to my bluetooth stuff.
Thank You very much.

the key was:

Code: Select all

# echo enable > /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth
now i have problems with sending files from mobile phone, but it's just phone's problem, not notebook's. :-)

I'm glad you fixed part of the problem. I had a hidden agenda here. I just installed 10.2 on a T60 yesterday am I am sure I'll hit the same problem soon :). Good luck .
