is it possibleto upgrade the graphic card in z61m??

No, it's not. While some graphics options are described as "discrete", it really means just that they are separate from the core Intel chipset; they are still surface-mounted onto the motherboard and non-replaceable.

Not possible, try agian.

The graphics card is soldered into the motherboard, so you can't access it for removal. Even then, you'd have to find a pretty specific graphics card to fit in the same spot as the old one.

the only(and pretty expensive) way is to swap the motherboard with a better graphics card.

Upgrading gpu on a notebook? such machine does not exist.....

However, Asus has been looking forward to manufacturing such laptops with the implementation of nVidia chipsets. More info. can be found here.

Ah yes, they exists. Upgradeable graphics are found in many barebones of second-tier manufacturers like Clevo (which are widely used with colored chassis by brands like Alienware or Voodoo PC), AOpen in past times, VBI makers etc.

In our company we were assembling 15,4" AOpen barebones with user upgradeable graphic cards and those MXM modules were sold separately without problem.

But i do not know any notebooks with upgradeable graphics from large vendor like Lenovo, Acer or HP.
