Hibernate not an option

I tried seaching but was unable to find an answer. I recently reinstalled Windows on my X41T but I couldn't find the tablet ed. disc I had so I used XP Pro, and just installed my wacom drivers which works fine, but for some reason I can't hibernate and stand by is greyed out. I enabled advanced power management, but when I check power management option under the advanced tab, hibernate is not an option.
