I would love to have the 250 GB capacity, do you think speed will be to much difference compared to 200GB 7200 RPM ?, I was thinking to buy the Hitachi 7K200, nontheless this one the Samsung HM250JI is 250GB and 5400 RPM does not bad, what do you think ?, thanks

What do you think ? --> 250GB 5400 RPM or 200GB 7200 RPM
i would go 250GB because the platter density could probably make up for most of the speed difference. 7200RPM isn't like double the speed or anything, only about 30% faster so 5400 with 25% of more capacity of the 7200RPM should do some nice numbers.
The head picks up more information on one rotation than the 7200RPM even tho the 7200RPM one would probably do 1 1/3 rotation by the time the 5400RPM does 1. I'd still get it tho
That is one reason plus the battery life might be an extra 30mins or something which have saved me countless times!

Unless I'm mistaken platter density won't really make a difference. I've never heard of anyone relate speed of hard drives with platter density.
Plus, they may not have the same number of platters.
Example: The 7200 RPM 750 GB Seagate hard drives are not faster than the 10,000 RPM 150 GB Raptor hard drives from Western Digital. It comes close though, but one drive is 150 gb vs a 750 gb. I'd hardly expect whatever density difference there is between a 200gb vs a 250 gb hard drive to make a difference.
Anyway, I'm not an expert in hard drives so to get a more definitive answer to this question, you should post on the forums at http://forums.storagereview.net/
And here are some benchmarks from the same web site: http://www.storagereview.com/Testbed4Compare.sr
Final Point: I wouldn't look at platter density when trying to compare the relative speed of two hard drives.
