IBM Partition necessary to use Recovery Discs?

#1 Post by sagara » Sun Jun 03, 2007 4:28 am

Of all the TPs I've had (all off ebay), my 'new' T42 is the only one that came with the IBM_Preload Partition intact. So I've created a set of Product Recovery discs. My question is: if I now delete the IBM partition to reclaim 6GBs, will I still be able to use the Recovery discs to set the T42 back to its original configuration if required?

Thanks
