Does T42 support Bluetooth AVRCP?

I just bought the new SONY CMT-HX7BT Stereo which has bluetooth so that you can supposedly stream mp3's from my T42 to the stereo.

I have had NO luck making this work - I've tried updating all my drivers etc and I can pair the stereo with my laptop but nothing.

I think my T42 might not support the AVRCP protocol for bluetooth... is this correct? is there anything I can do? is it b/c my laptop is already 2 years old..

tried all of those things --- nothing..

I've tried all three drivers:

Aciontec
Microsoft
unsigned

nothing
