X21 windows installation

#1 Post by oldclifford » Mon Oct 11, 2004 3:54 pm

Hi, everyone:
I recently got a X21 and a PCMCIA cd-rom. Can I install windows from the cd-rom by upgrading installation. Thus there is not need to be boot from other deivce. Have anybody try this?
Thanks,

Shouldn't be a problem for an upgrade install but a clean install is really the only way to go. Unfortunately, you cannot do a clean install from a PCMCIA CDROM

After a while, the registry gets clogged up with junk slowing the computer down and causing software problems. A clean install gets rid of all this.
