My dog is lost

#1 Post by thePCxp » Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:11 pm

Hi everyone,

My dog is lost and I want to make "Lost Dog" fliers, but I don't know what information to put. Does anyone know what information I should put in the fliers.

My dog has been lost since Friday, June 1. Everytime I come back home from school, I go see my dog but on Friday I came back to an unpleasant welcome. When I went to the backyard to see my dog, I didn't see her comming so I knew something wasn't right. So I went to my room and put my stuff down and I went to the backyard and found out that she was nowhere in there. My birthday was on Wednesday, May 30 (and I am now 17) and then two days later my dog runs off? Its just not fair! :x

Here is a picture of my ThinkPad and my dog. My dog's name is Cookie:

And I also have another picture of Cookie.

Sad to learn, I hope you'll find her really soon. By the way she had the tag on, right?
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

No tag, no microchip? :( :?

Most pets run away IF they get bored and most likely get into some kind of trouble in this manner or find a new home. However, I still hope she returns home.

That sucks man, I hope you could find your dog. I've 2 cockers without microchip nor tag. I would put them a tag to identify those, however I don't think they will ever run away, they like home.

Good luck

I think a lot of times, they get loose simply because they like to be out on an adventure, not because they're bored or don't like their current home.

I used to take it personally when our dog got loose... why doesn't he like it here??? ... but my wife convinced me that he just likes to be free, to check out whatever he likes (without being on a leash). Our dog loves his home. In general, he gets treated better than the people here.

The problem is if/when they get lost and can't find their way home. :(

I hope your dog comes back soon!

Ofcourse not. I truly hope she comes back or someone reports her to you.

As a teenager we had a german shepherd named Jackie, we used to live in a newly built suburb, to be precise at the very end corner of it, so there was still open room for new houses to be built and a play area for us and our beloved dog. One day he went missing and never came back. We were torn...

The worst scenario we accepted was he might got bored. Sadly truth was very hard to follow so we just moved on.

Again, I still hope your cookie would come back to you soon.
