the FireGL v5250 - HDR compatible?

#1 Post by thatcrazycommie » Tue Jun 05, 2007 12:40 pm

I need a new notebook for college, and it's looking like I'm gonna go with the T60p Widescreen. However, I have one question about the video card, the FireGL v5250: can it do HDRR? The Wikipedia article on the topic doesn't list it as one of the HDRR-capable video cards, but that seems odd, because the 5000 and 5100 are there.

If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd be quite grateful.

any graphics card that supports Shader Model 2.0 can do HDR rendering
v5250 is actually an underclocked X1700, which has SM 3.0. So, it can easily do HDR[/quote]
