What Really Grinds my Gears!!!!!

When you are showing someone a picture or diagram on your thinkpad and they put their greasy Kentucky Fried Chicken, didn't lick their fingers, have enough grease left to cook a turkey and grease back their hair, Fingers on your beautiful LCD and you want to grab their finger and say, if you value this digit don't touch the screen pal.

That's what grinds my gears!

I never let ANYONE touch my LCD or come near my thinkpad with unclean hands. I hate fingerprints on my screen.

What grinds my gears is this: people see me with a thinkpad, and ask me "Why did you get an antiquated thinkpad when you could have got a vaio or a macbook pro when you are spending so much?" I feel like punching them like Nelson.

"Because a Thinkpad this antiquated still actually runs" worked well the one time that happened to me.

Then again, that was about my X21 which really was getting old at that point. I'm not sure if you were referring to the T22 or the T60?

Worse than the fingerprints, are the people that have long finger nails, that insist on tapping the LCD...it makes the hair on my neck stand up
