Does R60 with mini dock support 2560x1600?

hi everybody, this is my first post so a good chance to say hi to the thinkpad forums !

First post, first question ... I have an R60 with a mobility radeon x1400 and an advanced mini dock. I am trying to connect an apple cinema HD, 30 inches, that requires a dual link dvi video card and a resolution of 2560x1600.

Even though the x1400 card has dual link capabilities ( see http://ati.amd.com/products/mobilityrad ... specs.html ), the maximum available resolution I get is 2048x1536. Moreover, it is a virtual resolution ( panning ), like any other resolution over 1280x800.

All the other answers I searched for on this forums are about the T60 (and frankly I still cannot understand if even T60 are able to do what I need) .

Can anyone give some hints or have more information ?
