Fire GL vs. GeForce 8400M GT

I'm looking to get a t60p with the ATI Fire GL V5250 256MB graphics and I wanted to know how that compared to an nVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT that Sony offers on an FZ series notebook of a comparable price. If you can please include battery life you would expect.

The V5250 is substantially faster than a M8400 G or GS -- don't know about GT.

For the V5250, look at the Radeon Mobility X1700 -- the V5250 just adds CAD capability to that one.
