Which bios on lenovo c200???? please help!

Hi guys, I've bought a Lenovo c200 4LG Model with XP preinstalled, in which i've installed windows vista.

I'm having problems with random hangs and looking for in the lenovo web, i've seen that there is a recommended bios update for my machine, but in the description say that it's only for Windows Vista Preload Models.

My actual bios version number is 1.02 and I would like to know that bios is proper for my notebook.

Previously I tried install v3.01 and my notebook went to the technical support because he didn't boot.

have anyone upgraded his bios in these machines????

Your're in a quandry, you could reinstall XP to factory and update the bios and try reinstalling your copy of vista and see what happens, bios updates are a touchy experience as you have learned the hard way. It really seems kind of strange that your machine is acting up with vista, can you describe in more detail the issues you are having, i'e. error msgs, event viewer codes, etc.
