Support strap to keep laptop in front of stomach
Support strap to keep laptop in front of stomach
I'm wondering if there are any accessories/devices that can let you type on your laptop with both hands, while standing. I found some patents (example: http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5938096.html ) that describe what I'm looking for, but haven't been able to find anything that can be purchased. Any ideas where to look?

i can't see where it would be convienent to actually use such a thing..
unless the laptop extends out from the body a distance equal to the distance from the users elbows to fingertips it would not be useable..
and extending out that far seems to make it unwieldy..
thus the lack of products ready to buy..
so you will probably need to build one for yourself..
of course, you could hang it straight down if you are a touch typist..
which i am not..

An idea (and I am not trying to be flippant): What about the trays the peanut sellers use at the ball park? I'm sure an ultralight would be less heavy that bags of peanuts...
