New Power Manager

#1 Post by tebore » Thu Jun 07, 2007 11:56 pm

A new PM is on the website.

Says it adds "Battery Stretch" and "Always on USB" I don't see these options in my T60P once installed.

Well that sucks I was hopping to get more than 6 hours out of my T60p. I max out at like 5.5 hours.

These features are built into the new Santa Rosa chipset. The old Nappa chipset does not support these power saving features.

Doesn't work for me

#6 Post by r. aster » Sun Jun 17, 2007 3:31 pm

The new 1.15 PM doesn't work on my T60. Crashes when I try to start it with some error referring to an OCX. The power gauge displays OK in the tray, and the top display of the PM will open from there, but the PM crashes if I click any of the tabs or buttons on that screen.

I had to revert via System Restore.
