You need to register your AMEX card for Tailormade program. You will get 5-10%off

If you have a Visa card and buy through usa.visa.com/personal, you can also get 5 - 10% off but there is nothing to register, i.e. less hassle.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

I click to the site and it says 20% off. But after selecting an exact same model from this link and another from 'default' setting (ie no visa discount), the difference does not add u pto 20%...more like USD100 off.

Or did I make a mistake somewhere?

thanks

It says "Save up to 20% or more".
