LED displays

Now that Apple has released new Macbooks with LED displays, I wonder how long it'll take Lenovo to start putting them into the Thinkpads. It would certainly solve the uneven lighting issue that many complain about in the T60s and perhaps even increase screen brightness (definitely improves contrast as it can do better blacks).

I sure hope soon...the macbooks and vaios I have seen sure appear to have a better screen than the older ccfl they used. Better battery life too, at least on the vaio. Plus, I bet its much easier it would be to replace a led strip as opposed to the fragile ccfl and inverter board!
