compatible with a Palm?

I would know if my Thinkpad R40 is compatible with a PalmM515. Particularly I want to know if I can transfer file (.doc, .xls) from PC to Palm

It is, just install the most recent Palmdesktop software. However, you can transfer only a limited number of formats (pdb, ..) to the main memory of the Palm. All others, like xls, mp3 can be stored only on the Secure Digital (SD) card.
