What is the difference between the 8 cd set and the 7 cd set?
There are some common model numbers.

Thanks

8 CD set has a "Supplemental CD" in it. I never actually looked into it to see what the actual contents were but during the installation the installation routine asks for this CD with a Yes/No option and then installs some software from it. From the time this CD is read it doesn't seem like its a huge application.

The 8 CD set appears to be more popular.

The 7 CD set is the latest set. The "Supplemental CD" in the 8 CD set is used to bring the install more up to date. I ran into this issue with earlier sets from other Thinkpads too.
