r60 + intel gma + dvi

I have an r60 with integrated intel graphics. I also have a dock with DVI out, but it doesn't work with the intel card. Is it possible for me to upgrade to an ATI card, or find some hacked firmware enabling DVI on intel cards? Thanks for any pointers.

The video card is not upgradeable. I'm not sure on the firmware, but my inclination would be no. The VGA connection looks fine to me.

Thanks for the response. I have a Dell FPW 2407 and run 1920x1200 resolution. With VGA output (via the dock), I notice the text is pretty blurry and not as crisp as my desktop (which is using DVI). So I'm trying to take advantage of the DVI in the dock in some way.
