#1 Post by wanna_IBM » Wed Oct 13, 2004 2:36 pm

Could someone post a link to the proper dirvers for the mini dock. I do not have the drivers installed as I did a search and it came up with nothing. Thanks for your help. I have a T42p laptop if that matters and running windows xp.

hey wanna, did you just get your mini-dock, mine just got here today. Seems like it's in good shape. Not sure what drivers you are talking about, i plugged mine in and it seems to be working well. What would the drivers be needed for?

Drivers for Minidock

#4 Post by wanna_IBM » Wed Oct 13, 2004 5:10 pm

Some pc's already had the drivers installed, some did not, mine. I went to IBM site (access IBM) and typed in docking and it talked about drivers. Mine is in very good condition but I will need a dolly to carry the power supply.

Does the key stay in there or what? Also, my mouse will not work with the dock, it found hardware but will not work, any suggestions? And if I have one more cord in my way, look out.!

yeah i've found that almost NOTHING works in the usb ports in the dock b/c the hub just doesn't transfer/dock well. i've only gotten a flash drive to work so I have to use the side USB ports on my stinkpad which kinda defeats the purpose of a dock. i pretty much use the dock just to angle my computer and b/c it came with a power cord.

i am typing with my keyboard and mouse plugged in, tried the mouse in usb and ps2, i have 2 other usb's in, printer and flash drive. External monitor, and parallel work too...not sure what is wrong with the others. I am running XP sp1 with the mini-dock and I did not install any drivers. My model is 2373-GVU.
