All,
In addition to upgrading my Cisco 802.11b wireless card to an Atheros a/b/g card, I also am planning on installing a Hitachi 100gb, 7200 rpm drive. I was planning on running the recovery disks to set the drive up (I don't have much stuff installed on the standard 40 gb drive).
My question is this: If I install the Atheros wireless card, put the new 100gb drive and run the recovery disks, will the recovery recognize the atheros card and install the appropriate drivers? And will it also set up Access Connections for the Atheros Card?
That is what I am planning on doing. I'll post my experiences once I'm done. Thanks.
Eric
