I have a T60P 8744-j2u. This unit has Vista 32 bit pre-installed.
When at work, I place it on my desk and use the left side VGA plug to drive an external monitor which is physically on the the left of the TP.
I go into 'Display Settings' and drag the '2' screen to the left and all is well.
The problem is after the unit locks up the screen, the '2' screen will be on the right when I unlock it.
Two questions: Can I prevent this from being moved to the right, and is there a command I can issue from the cmd prompt to make this move so I can put it in a script in case I can not prevent the automatic movement?
Thanks.

I am having the same issue with mine. I have been using Vista for quite a while and have had issues with the desplay acting weird after undocking/sleep but never the monitors switching after I lock the pc. I downloaded the lastest driver and I had that issue also. Laptop monitor as the 2nd monitor and having it located on the left of a LCD monitor. I had to rollback the driver to ver. 8.33.6.0. I am curious to see if there is an answer to this other than moving the laptop to the right side of the external monitor.
Hi there
I'm having the exactly same issue here. It seems to be a Vista-related bug. I searched the net and found some other people complaining about the same problem. I can't find the site atm, but they had some kind of work-around. Will see if I can find it again.

I happens to me with Vista 64 but I have the presentation director set up with a profile for the way I want it, then I just choose that from the F7 option and after a lot of flashing around and resizing of things, it comes up right, mostly.
This one is use the ATI Fire GL with Lenovo supplied drivers.
