Memory upgrade on a R40.

#1 Post by Béèm » Fri Jun 15, 2007 6:19 pm

I still have the 256MB memory and would like to upgrade.
Can I put a 512MB module or even a 1GB module in the second slot next to the 256MB installed one?

Sure, you can do that.

R40 with Pentium M model supports up to 2GB (1+1) maximum memory.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Thank you.
In some machines the pairs had to be equal. Fortunately not the case here. :D
